I. Mission of The Society

A fraternity of kindred spirits that meets to share ideas, experiences and fellowship in order to contribute to the advancement of ageless marketing and operational principles while enhancing each member's professional and spiritual growth.

II. Membership

A. Process

Those that attended two of the first four meetings shall be considered Founding Members (David Wolfe, Dick Ambrosius, Vicki Thomas, Connie Goldman, Michael Sullivan, Garry Solomonson, Pat Mason). Further...

1. The Society shall remain small enough to retain the intimacy and quality of the relationships of its members.
2. Membership is by invitation only. Any member may invite a prospect to attend a meeting. Those invited by current members shall have high ethical standards and demonstrated competence in their chosen field.
3. Following attendance at two meetings, a prospect's candidacy must be welcomed by attending members and endorsed in by the Founding Members to be invited for full membership.
3. All memberships will be to "individuals only", whether or not paid by an organization or corporation. There shall be no corporate memberships or discounted memberships for nonprofit organizations.
B. Founding Members

These members shall establish initiation fees, have veto power over prospective members and fees.

C. Candidates for Membership

Must have ten or more years of experience marketing programs and services to older adults with references who can validate results.

Or

Must be in a decision-making capacity with a large corporation or organization, which is desirous of investigating new marketing paradigms and/or making a corporate commitment to older markets.

Or

Have 10 or more years' experience as a provider of products, services or training and be seeking new levels of understanding for clients and/or consumers.

And

Have recommendations from person making nomination and two current Society members who are willing to verify level of competence and experience; or verify that they have personally checked the applicant's qualifications.

D. Prospective Members

Any member in good standing may recommend a person for membership and invite them to attend any open meeting. Prospective members shall be allowed to attend only one meeting as an invited guest unless re-invited as a prospective member.

III. Standards of Conduct

A. Termination of Membership

Any member aggressively pursuing new business, actively pursuing another member's clients or handing out business cards without being asked will be given one warning before membership privileges are revoked.

Any member that fails to attend at least one meeting in a two year period will have their name dropped from the membership list unless one or more of the absenses has been excused.

B. Warning

Any member sharing proprietary information presented or discussed during a meeting with nonmembers or incorporating it into their own presentations without permission will be given one warning before privileges are revoked.

IV. Dues

A. Initiation Fee

To cover mailings, database maintenance, meeting coordination and billings there shall be a one-time invitation fee of $350.00 and annual dues of $50..

B. Meeting and Administrative Expenses

Charges to cover costs for each gathering will be equally allocated to those attending each meeting with a reasonable markup to cover coordination and administrative expenses.
